Give It A Swirl

While I’m still waiting on the revamp that will include the page about this, ON PixeLooK.net, here it is … I designed their new logo/look.

I stumbled across the information about the logo contest.  While the contest was a bit out of date, I contacted Alecx Writer to inquire as to whether or not they’d found the logo in the contest that they liked yet.  He informed me he hadn’t and welcomed me to submit one.  A day later, this is what I turned in … and the rest is history .

As PixeLooK is a social network for avatars in the SecondLife fashion, entertainment and Machinima industries, AND as they had recently completed a contest where they chose three “Diva’s” (company faces/spokespeople), it seemed appropriate to have the faces of these Diva’s looking out at us from WITHIN PixeLooK, denoting that there are people in here you want to meet!  The word “Pixel” in the title was fun to play with by adding “pixels” fading in/out of the logo.  The colors chosen stuck with their current color theme deliberately, saves a lot of work in revamping a site lol.

What Am I doing Now for them?

Well, I’m in the process of creating an advertising campaign.  Keep yer eyes pealed for them.
